At Accra Brewery PLC, we take our responsibility to help reduce and prevent the harmful use of alcohol seriously —and we put it at the center of everything we do. Over the past 90 years, we have consistently executed several Smart Drinking initiatives to ensure smart drinking among our employees and consumers. Smart Drinking has become a part of our company culture, and we continue to strive to bring that culture to all communities in Ghana.

This year, our goal is to raise awareness of our Smart Drinking initiatives and empower our colleagues and consumers to champion the behaviors and social norms that embody Smart Drinking. We know that true progress toward making every experience with beer a positive one is not possible until every employee, every brand, and every consumer is on board and maintains Smart Drinking behaviors beyond specific moments and events.

Thus, we invite you to take our Beer Oath. An oath that celebrates beer with a promise to drink responsibly and not ruin the “beer moment”. An oath that can be recited like a toast at parties, in backyards, at your favorite pub…anywhere! We challenge you to take this oath to promote Smart Drinking behavior and make EVERY beer experience a positive one.
